When we first meet Violet she is 5 years old. Violet has milky skin with freckles and strawberry blond hair that falls to the middle of her back. She lives on a large cattle ranch with her mother and her father, her dog Max and is often visited by her best and only friend Beth.
She calls her parents mom and daddy. Her mom is from a long line of Gypsy witches and her daddy is the 2nd generation of his family to be living here and not in Ireland. Max is a border collie with a white ring around his neck and she also loves to ride her big gray horse who is called Grey.
It is mid June and she just completed Kindergarten and misses going to school to see her friends and teachers. Kindergarten was a lot of fun filled with playing post office, learning the weather and how to sign her name. Now the weather is nice and warm and she is mostly allowed to just be outside in the barns or in her room. As long as she plays quietly and is polite she can do most anything. Beth is allowed to come over as long as she always leaves when she is told it is time to go. ©
